“I have (not so subtly!) spread the word among family and friends that I am utterly smitten by the Fjorden camera grip. I’ve been using my SLR less and less when I travel due to the sheer bulk of it and the associated lenses and gear—and this gadget basically maxes out your iPhone’s camera capabilities with a slim-profile Magsafe attachment, bringing functionality to the fore while adding a tactile element to it all that is missing from smartphone photography. There’s a two-stage shutter button, a zoom lever, a custom dial for ISO, aperture, etc. … and I’m ready to jettison my mirror-based cameras since I just turned 40 and have discovered back pain. Fjorden!”
