OFFF Celebrates 25 Years with an Ambitious Lineup & Large-Scale Digital Installation

OFFF Barcelona, the world’s leading festival in creativity, art, and digital design, is set to celebrate its 25th anniversary in grand style from May 8 to 10 at Disseny Hub Barcelona. Since its inception, OFFF has been a beacon of innovation, bringing together top creative talents from around the world to explore the future of design, motion graphics, branding, and visual storytelling.

There is nothing, nothing, nothing stronger than a community of imaginative people determining and advocating what they most deeply care about.

What began as a groundbreaking event two decades ago has since evolved into an internationally renowned platform where artists, designers, and technologists gather to push creative boundaries. To mark its quarter-century milestone, OFFF has unveiled a new identity designed by COLLINS. The ‘Centre OFFF Gravity’ concept reflects OFFF’s role as a central force within the international creative community. The design draws inspiration from OFFF’s magnetic energy—both attracting and projecting. As an attractor, it serves as a gathering point for diverse minds and visions. As a projector, it ignites ideas and expands creative boundaries. The new brand identity captures a spirit that is both grounded and forward-thinking, timeless yet provocative, and mature yet expressive.

Pep Salazar, director of OFFF, comments: “Twenty-five years of OFFF Festival have been an incredible journey. As a community and a space for discovering new visual trends where inspiration flows freely, we now reignite our imagination to usher in a new era of OFFF—one focused on moving forward and creating.”

Brian Collins of COLLINS adds “For a quarter-century, the remarkable people at OFFF have not only redefined the conversation about creativity for each of us as individuals, artists and designers, but they have built a real and welcoming international community, enabling people to support each other in ways none of us could never do alone. In the end, there is nothing, nothing, nothing stronger than a community of imaginative people determining and advocating what they most deeply care about. We are beyond honored to work with OFFF, taking what’s rare and best, and giving this community’s ambition a new voice and an even bigger future.”

This year’s lineup is one of the most ambitious yet, featuring 70 speakers from across the creative spectrum. Attendees can expect insights from industry powerhouses such as Territory Studio, Anna Ginsburg, Boldtron (I wrote about one of their insanely cool projects last year), Ines Alpha, and Marina Willer. From branding and digital experiences to AI-generated art, motion graphics, and experiential design, the festival remains at the forefront of the industry, offering a glimpse into the future of creativity. Beyond the speaker lineup, OFFF continues to foster creative growth through workshops, masterclasses, and hands-on learning experiences.

One of the most exciting additions to this year’s program is The Screen – a public motion art showcase projected onto the facade of the Disseny Hub Barcelona. Creators from around the world are invited to submit motion artworks for this large-scale exhibition, turning the museum’s exterior into a living canvas of digital art. This initiative is an opportunity for artists to have their work displayed in a spectacular, immersive format during the festival’s nighttime events. The deadline to enter is March 23!

OFFF has helped shape the creative industry and provided a platform for new voices. This landmark edition is not just a celebration of its history but a bold step into the future. Whether you’re an established designer or an emerging talent, OFFF 2025 is an unmissable opportunity to learn, connect, and be inspired.
