Hari Ren, a Stalybridge-born artist and musician, invites us into his vivid world of industrial decay, folklore, and working-class life—a space that’s haunting yet strangely familiar.
Growing up amidst the old mills and factories of an East Manchester town in the ’80s and ’90s, these remnants of an industrial past shaped his creative vision. Inspired by punk’s rebellious spirit, as well as the transformative power of Expressionism and Dada, Hari’s paintings embody raw emotion, storytelling, and defiance.
