The House Without Words by Snow AIDe
name: Mueonga: The House Without Words
architect: Snow AIDe | @snowaide_official
location: South Korea
Snow AIDe’s Mueonga: The House Without Words stands alone, in complete solitude, just an hour away from Seoul, shaped by two intersecting circles. It has acquired its definitive condition and will remain alone forever. This project is a small hideaway house harmoniously integrated into its natural surroundings of woods and streams. The location offers a unique opportunity to experience the changing lights and views across four different seasons. With its overall shape derived from two intersecting circles, reminiscent of an igloo, Mongolian ger, or Chinese tulou, the design creates open spaces that invite nature, scenery, and sunshine.
Mokosh Restaurant at Villa Tončić by Studio 502
name: Mokosh Restaurant at Villa Tončić
architect: Andrea Yateem, Jovana Boskovic / Studio 502
location: Split, Croatia
Studio 502 transforms Villa Tončić, a protected Secessionist villa in Split, Croatia, into Mokosh Restaurant, balancing heritage preservation with contemporary hospitality design. Originally designed by architect Kamil Tončić in the early 20th century, the villa served as a summer residence before later adaptations diminished its original spirit. Studio 502 approached the project through minimal, fully reversible interventions, preserving wood panelling, murals, ceiling detailing, and lighting fixtures. Later alterations that obscured historic features were carefully removed, and damaged areas were reconstructed in collaboration with local artisans to reimagine the villa for vibrant public use.

Raumberg 38 by Georges Batzios Architects
name: Raumberg 38
architect: Georges Batzios Architects | @georgesbatziosarchitects
location: Raumberg, Austria
Raumberg 38 is an important agricultural college in Austria, located in one of the most beautiful valleys in Styria. Over time, its successful educational path has created the need for additional facilities. Unfortunately, these new buildings have created a heterogeneous campus. The historic building is now surrounded by extensions that do not appear to be connected. Georges Batzios Architects’ proposal takes this competition as an opportunity to improve this heterogeneous situation by creating a unified campus, both in terms of function and aesthetics. To this end, the team has used the features of the original historic building. However, their aim is not to copy the features of the historic building, but to translate them into a contemporary form that focuses on a sustainable design that would lead the school into a new era.
