mansory reveals monopoly-painted mercedes G-class with vibrant aqua blue interiors

Artist alec monopoly paints mansory’s mercedes G-class

Mansory taps artist Alec Monopoly to paint the exterior of the in-house converted Mercedes G-Class with his character Mr. Monopoly. Colorful paint splatters and symbols mark the outside of the four-door vehicle, alluding to its vibrant aqua blue interiors. Dubbed MANSORY – Art Piece – AL3C MONO907Y, the vehicle uses the recently introduced Mansory Speranza as the base, which is the converted Mercedes G-Class unveiled a few weeks back at the Top Marques Monaco show. There are only ten units available for the collaboration, and the American artist handpaints each model and then seals it with a clear coat to protect it from UV radiation and scratches.

In the Mansory Mercedes G-Class with Alec Monopoly, the wheelbase, or the distance between the front and back wheels, is shorter compared to the Mansory Speranza. Because of this, the art automobile doesn’t have a third side window. The rear doors are also shorter, and they connect directly to the soft convertible and removable roof. This top is powered by electricity, so it closes and opens automatically, and it’s also lined with insulation, so the owners can drive the vehicle all year round, regardless of the weather conditions.

Interior design in vibrant blue with illustrations

In the Mansory Mercedes G-Class with Alec Monopoly, the vibrant shade of aqua blue takes the spotlight, sharing the stage with the illustrations of the artist. The car manufacturer says that many of the interior details are adjusted to fit the new shape, which includes the trims, seals, and parts of the electrical system. In case the owners are not fans of the cabin, they can change the colors, type of leather, stitching on the leather, as well as the design of the carbon fiber parts. Some of the interior panels are personally designed by Alec Monopoly, making the design unique.

Many of the cabin parts are forged from carbon fiber, from the sport pedals with the Mansory logo to the sporty steering wheel made of leather with a flat-bottom design. The floor mats are made of quilted Mansory leather, and the manufacturer also adds its name’s lettering inside the door handles. Outside the Mansory Mercedes G-Class art vehicle, some parts of the rims and brake calipers are painted in four different shades for a splash of colors, like the interiors. Specs-wise, the model features a 4.0-liter V8 engine, and it can go from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in just 3.9 seconds. Its top speed is limited to 250 km/h with a maximum horsepower of 820 and torque of 1,150 Nm. So far, there are only ten units available for the Mansory Mercedes G-Class model with Alec Monopoly.
