F&F Design: A Studio Built on Spatial Storytelling

F&F Design is a multidisciplinary interior design and space planning consultancy founded in 2021 by architect Bashar Telisi. The Bahrain-based studio develops narrative-oriented environments for residential, commercial, corporate, and hospitality projects, working across all stages from concept development to on-site execution.

The firm’s approach is grounded in the idea that interior spaces can communicate identity through a balance of form, function, and material expression. Telisi brings over three decades of experience in architecture, design, and project management, having worked on major international developments across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. His methodology emphasizes strategic planning, technical rigor, and the principle that form supports function, an outlook that informs the studio’s design language.

Combining Digital Tools and Sensory Research in Design

F&F Design manages projects through an integrated workflow that includes consultation, conceptual design, space planning, physical modelling, 3D visualization, virtual reality previews, FF&E specification, BIM coordination, and site supervision. The practice combines digital tools with material knowledge and coordinated project delivery to create environments defined by spatial clarity and functional organization.

The studio’s research extends into sensory and experiential design. Through its Vision 2026 initiative, Studio F&F Design studies how light, acoustics, material tactility, and environmental cues shape user experience. This focus is reflected in projects such as Café Café in Bahrain, where spatial identity is developed through proportion, rhythm, and material composition to produce an environment designed for both practical use and atmospheric presence.

F&F Design continues to expand its portfolio with projects that integrate technical precision, contextual awareness, and a consistent emphasis on spatial quality. The studio positions each project as an opportunity to explore interior environments that are both functional and experientially coherent, contributing to an evolving design practice within regional and international contexts.
