Noor Riyadh 2025 marks the fifth edition of Saudi Arabia’s groundbreaking annual light and art festival. Organized under the Riyadh Art program, it transforms the capital’s urban and cultural landmarks through light-based installations and immersive experiences. Running from November 20 to December 6, 2025, the festival will showcase over 60 large-scale artworks across Riyadh, including Qasr Al Hokm District, King Abdulaziz Historical Center, and stc Metro Station. Curated by Mami Kataoka, Sara AlMutlaq, and Li Zhenhua, this edition themed “In the Blink of an Eye” celebrates Riyadh’s rapid evolution, connecting its historical roots with its futuristic vision through light, creativity, and community engagement.

Taiwan Design Week 2025 returns to Taipei’s Songshan Cultural and Creative Park from 29 November to 7 December under the theme “Design Next.” Organized by the Taiwan Design Research Institute, the event explores how design is evolving to address humanity’s greatest challenges—from health and aging to sustainability and digital life. The week features the major international research conference IASDR 2025, presenting six tracks and over 500 papers from global experts.
