Weltevree and Kröller-Müller Museum Reimagine the Wheelbench
Dutch outdoor design studio, Weltevree, has introduced a new edition of the Wheelbench in collaboration with the Kröller-Müller Museum in the Netherlands. The Wheelbench Kröller-Müller Edition, designed by Rogier Martens, was presented at PAN Amsterdam as a contemporary reinterpretation of the original oak outdoor bench. This edition is produced in aluminum, selected for its durability, low weight, and weather-resistant properties.

Rogier Martens reinterprets the Wheelbench in yellow aluminum
The bench features the characteristic rounded form of the original design and is finished in ochre yellow (RAL 1024). A distinguishing element of this version, by designer Rogier Martens, is the inclusion of removable stickers depicting artworks from the museum’s sculpture garden, allowing users to customize the bench or take the graphics with them.
A series of Wheelbench Kröller-Müller Edition by Weltevree Studio units will be installed in the museum’s sculpture garden, offering visitors the opportunity to interact with the piece within the landscape. The bench is available through Weltevree, the Kröller-Müller Museum shop, and select retailers.
