2ND EDITION OF maison&objet INTÉRIEURS HONG KONG
From December 3–6, 2025, the rebranded Maison&Objet Intérieurs Hong Kong returns for an expanded second edition, firmly positioning the city as Asia’s premier hub for design, lifestyle, and global collaboration. Under the central theme of ‘Crossroads,’ the event celebrates the convergence of culture, traditional craftsmanship, and cutting-edge sustainable innovation. While the full program delivers Inspiration, Discovery, and Encounters across its three core sections, the heart of the show’s agenda lies within the Design Factory, conceived as a true laboratory of ideas.
This curated space is dedicated to both surprise and inspire, artfully presenting features, objects, and furniture that offer proactive solutions for the modern world. By focusing intensively on sustainability, material innovation, and cultural exchange, the Design Factory brings together over 200 creations from around 80 brands. This immersive experience is delivered through four specialized pavilions, each curated by a global visionary.

ASIA’S PREMIER HUB FOR CROSS-CULTURAL DESIGN
Since 1994, Maison&Objet has been a leader in the international decor, design, and lifestyle community. With two annual exhibitions and the celebrated Paris Design Week in September, the design event serves as an indispensable barometer for the entire sector. This authority is now fully deployed for the Hong Kong edition. The expierence, running concurrently to DesignInspire and BODW, is further supported by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA) as the lead sponsor, cementing the city as the central meeting place to unfold the future of design in Asia and beyond. To ensure a focused professional experience, the design event runs exclusively for design professionals from December 3–5, 2025, with December 6 open to the general public. Access is complimentary, but all guests must register in advance here.
‘Maison&Objet Intérieurs 2025 represents the crossroads of East and West, innovation and tradition, functionality and lifestyle. Hong Kong is the ideal location in Asia to showcase, discover, and experience the latest trends and evolutions in design. We aim to inspire visitors with bold narratives, cutting -edge designs, and meaningful cultural exchanges. We look forward to welcoming the global design community to Hong Kong this December,’ states Philippe Delhomme, President of SAFI/Maison&Objet, underscoring the event’s mission.

FOUR PAVILIONS OF MATERIAL RE-EMPLOYMENT AND CULTURAL CRAFT
The Design Factory spans a total of 900 square meters, exploring the Crossroads theme across four immersive pavilions, curated by global visionaries, all championing a shift toward resourceful and culturally-aware creativity. The pavilion sequence begins with ‘Shifted Mirrors: Fragments of a Dreamed East,’ curated by Clélie Debehault & Liv Vaisberg and Ann Chan. This space explores the new discipline of collectible design — a realm at the border of art and design. It presents works from innovative designer-artists across Europe, Asia, and North America, inviting visitors to wander through a dreamlike habitat blending the West and Asia.
Next is Lionel Jadot, the 2024 Maison&Objet Designer of the Year, who presents ‘Anthropocene Adhocsime.’ This experimental hotel suite explores the re-employment of materials and the use of local know-hows to produce design works. Jadot’s distinctive aesthetic is marked by the critical issues of the climate crisis, showcasing a commitment of total sincerity to design.

Running parallel to this material challenge is the ‘Breath of Bamboo’ pavilion, led by Bangkok-based master Korakot Aromdee. Aromdee masterfully implements the unique talent and know-how of Thai craftsmen. This pavilion specifically highlights how deep knowledge of a natural, renewable material like bamboo can transcend traditional craft into complex, inspiring design.
Finally, French trend-hunter Elizabeth Leriche returns with her second pavilion in Hong Kong, ‘Living Matters.’ Through three distinct atmospheres, Leriche explores new design narratives by selecting unexpected and unique design objects and furniture sourced globally. This collection provides a personal and poetic exploration of current design trends, tying back to the Design Factory’s core mission of anticipating and shaping the future of design.

Beyond the Design Factory, the event’s breadth of discovery includes the Design Showcase, presenting eight showcases that reimagine hybrid functions and usages in hospitality and residential spaces. Last but not least Le Club facilitates the third core pillar — Encounters — introducing a new feature inspired by the Paris editions business lounge, serving as an exclusive networking hub for industry professionals to foster collaborations and business exchanges.
