See how The Design Files team have transformed the East Brunswick Village display suite with local furniture and art.

The Design Files is taking up residency at East Brunswick Village (EBV) for one huge weekend of events and design inspiration later this month!

From Saturday March 14 – Sunday March 15, we’re transforming the EBV display suite with local furniture brands and art, to inspire your own apartment styling.

We’re also hosting a series of talks, offering expert advice on apartment styling for real life with interior designer Lauren Li; great ideas for rooftop and balcony gardens with landscape designers Ian Barker and Clea Cregan, and trends in global apartment culture with Never Too Small.

It’s been a while since we’ve hosted a public event, and we’d love to see as many TDF readers there as possible! We’ll be on site from 10am to 4pm, with To Be Frank serving free coffees and pastries to the first 100 visitors on both days until sold out. You can also purchase the latest copy of The Design Files Magazine from our magazine kiosk out the front!

If you haven’t heard of East Brunswick Village, it’s an apartment complex with a vibrant community spirit (and some very passionate residents – see inside two of their apartments here!).

Created by the team at Banco Group, the development is truly world class, offering residents generously designed apartments and amenities, from a retail precinct (featuring a supermarket, eateries, pharmacy, medical centre, cinema, florist, and Pilates studio) to private communal spaces, including what has to be Melbourne’s healthiest edible rooftop garden (which you can tour on the Sunday – more on that below)! The precinct contains one, two and three bedroom apartments, each with secure parking, storage and a 7.5-star NatHERS Rating.

The EBV display suite is free to visit at any time during the The Design Files Apartment Project from 10am to 4pm, but all expert talks are ticketed (just $5.00 per session). See below for the full schedule, and links to book!
