Motion design, video, and title sequence design, have become essential in today’s design industry—combining storytelling, typography, animation, sound, and visual branding into one cohesive experience. In an era where digital media dominates film, television, streaming platforms, advertising, and social media, designers are expected to create work that captures attention quickly and communicates ideas through movement rather than static imagery alone. As audiences consume more visual content across screens of all sizes, the ability to design engaging motion graphics and cinematic openings has become a valuable skill that connects graphic design, filmmaking, and branding, making motion design one of the most influential and in-demand fields in today’s creative industry.
This year’s PRINT Awards jury members in these categories will look for entries that demonstrate strong storytelling, originality, and technical craftsmanship, showing how motion, typography, sound, and imagery work together to create a clear visual concept and an engaging viewing experience.
