Pretty soon the winter greyness will be replaced by summer pink sunsets and the bare trees will be drowned in young foliage. Life will feel like this. These are paintings by artist Anastasia Trusova. She calls her direction ‘textured graphic impressionism’. The sky is just wow!

Anastasia Trusova, born on December 24, 1988, in a small Russian town, grew up surrounded by nature’s beauty. From an early age, she immersed herself in painting, drawing, and sculpture, cultivating an appreciation for the fleeting moments of the natural world.
After moving to Moscow at 12, Anastasia pursued her artistic passion, eventually studying design at university. Her career as a shoe designer for a global company led to an eight-year break from painting, as she divided her time between Russia and China.
Later, life took her to Belgium, where adapting to a new environment and raising her son reignited her love for art. In 2018, she returned to painting, fusing her skills in painting, graphics, and sculpture into a unique style she calls “textured graphic impressionism,” which captures the beauty and impermanence of nature.
