The whole thing weighs just 8.4 pounds but can hold up to 17.6 pounds, which is plenty for coffee, pastries, laptops, or small meals.

You can mount it in a tall orientation, where the table attaches to a bench seat and sits higher and closer to the wall, or in a short orientation, where it mounts directly to the wall and extends further out for more legroom.
