Lily superyacht is a petal-shaped luxury water vessel that has a lily pond and suspended playroom

Oceanco and Vripack have unveiled the “Lily,” a new superyacht concept that redefines luxury on the water. Inspired by the graceful curves of a flower’s petal, Lily’s design is characterized by flowing, asymmetrical lines that evoke a sense of fluid elegance. The yacht’s exterior showcases dramatic curves and sweeping lines that are a detour from the conventional boxy yacht designs. The result is an organic structure that blurs the boundaries between the yacht and the surrounding environment. Lily’s asymmetric form is not merely for aesthetic purposes but to maximize the overall experience of space and movement on the water.

Built for both luxury and sustainability, the 331-foot yacht features an innovative hybrid propulsion system that includes Dynafin and fuel-cell technology. This eco-friendly technology allows Lily to minimize its carbon footprint while offering superior performance at sea. The yacht’s steel hull and lightweight aluminum superstructure offer both durability and efficiency, ensuring that the vessel performs optimally without compromising on style.

According to Marnix Hoekstra, Vripack’s co-creative director, “Lily neatly straddles the line between blue-sky thinking and buildability.” Paris Baloumis, Oceanco’s group marketing director also mentioned that the superyacht “is a testament to what’s possible when design meets advanced construction and engineering.” Internally, Lily incorporates a split-level design with expansive windows that create a sense of openness and connection to the outside world. The main deck features a wellness area with a pool, gym, and water sports gallery, enhancing the comfort and lifestyle of those on board. The private owner’s suite is complemented by a sundeck and lily pond, adding a touch of nature indoors. The combination of glass partitions and minimalistic design ensures that natural light floods the interior spaces, making the yacht feel airy and spacious.

The innovative design philosophy also influences the navigation area. Vripack introduced a “virtual bridge” positioned midship on the upper deck. This strategic choice optimizes space and enhances the views from the owner’s apartment. In keeping with the vessel’s cutting-edge concept, the bridge is outfitted with the latest in navigational technology. Privacy remains paramount, and the innovative glass windows used in the design enable this while maintaining uninterrupted views of the water. A seamless blend of outdoor and indoor spaces allows guests to enjoy both the social areas and quiet retreats, with a unique “nest” space designed specifically for children.

In addition to its luxurious amenities, the yacht is equipped with the latest systems that adapt to the needs of the guests. Thoughtfully designed areas, such as the cinema room and adaptable social spaces, make the vessel perfect for both entertainment and relaxation. The design eliminates the need for traditional side terraces, opting instead for one-way glass windows that maintain privacy while enhancing the yacht’s aesthetic appeal.

By combining artistic inspiration with advanced tech, Lily superyacht exemplifies the future of sustainable luxury on the water. Very rightly Paris Baloumis, Oceanco’s group marketing director says that this water vessel stands as a testament to the fusion of design, advanced construction, and engineering. It embodies their commitment to creating a fully tangible yacht for owners eager to embrace the future. ‘Lily is not merely a vision; it’s a yacht ready to come to life.’
