Made in Italy Expo to Debut in Atlanta, Strengthening Trade and Industry Ties with Italy

A major new international business initiative is coming to Atlanta this fall. From September 15–22, 2025, the city will host the Made in Italy Expo, a high-impact program spotlighting Italian innovation, advanced manufacturing, design, and industrial partnerships across the Southeastern United States.

Unlike traditional cultural showcases, the Expo is being positioned as a strategic platform to promote transatlantic trade, attract foreign investment, and elevate the role of Italian-owned companies already operating in Georgia. With a full week of events—including industry panels, retail activations, executive talks, and a closing event featuring a Milan-style fashion show and food experiences—the Expo will create new visibility for Italy’s contribution to the Southeast’s growing innovation economy.

Organized by the Italia America Reputation Lab (IARL) in collaboration with the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce Southeast – Georgia Chapter, and with the endorsement of the Honorary Consul of Italy in Atlanta, the Expo will also feature a dedicated “Italy Made in Georgia” showcase. This spotlight will emphasize Italian companies in the region—ranging from logistics and food production to precision manufacturing and design.

“Atlanta is one of the most dynamic, internationally connected markets in the U.S.,” says Nicola Vidali, Managing Director of IACCSE Georgia and Program Executive of the Expo. “This is our opportunity to showcase Italian innovation and industry in a way that’s immersive, impactful, and directly connected to regional growth.”

“As a proud representative of Georgia, I am honored to welcome the Made in Italy Expo to Atlanta. This initiative is more than a cultural exchange—it is a dynamic driver of economic growth, innovation, and international partnership. By engaging Italian companies already invested in Georgia and introducing new partnerships across industries, this program will boost local businesses, elevate our position as a hub for global trade. Supporting events like the Made in Italy Expo affirms Georgia’s commitment to fostering inclusive economic development and community engagement that benefits us all.”StatedSenator Donzella James(D-28), Chairwoman of Senate Urban Affairs Committee.

“I look forward to curating a program that highlights Italy’s extraordinary fashion heritage while introducing visitors to new, creative expressions of Italian design. The Made in Italy Expo promises to be a truly immersive experience, and I am thrilled to play a role in celebrating the Italian fashion industry’s rich legacy here in Atlanta.” stated Cassandra Wilson, Fashion Director of the Program and experienced Atlanta-based fashion executive.

“We are proud to launch this initiative as part of our ongoing commitment to promoting the Italian lifestyle and showcasing Italy’s exceptional production capabilities. Atlanta, as the cultural and economic hub of the Southeast, is the ideal location for this endeavor. We are deeply grateful to the city and state authorities for their invaluable support.” Davide Ippolito, Italia America Reputation Lab’s President of the Board

This 2025 Expo serves as a preview-demo for the full 2026 program,  and it aims to position Atlanta as a permanent hub for Italy–U.S. business collaborations.
