They say music can cure you, but this AirPods case takes that phrase a little too literally! The AirPods IV Drip Case from s!gn turns your TWS earbuds into a saline bag filled with the best medicine – music. The case literally looks like a plastic bag filled with fluid (thanks to its clever two-part design), but what completes the illusion is the metal sign that lets you hang your AirPods the way you would a saline drip bag. Plug your charger in and it literally looks like you’re intravenously transferring audio!
The case isn’t complicated, in fact, it’s quite literally clear plastic, with a blue tint on the lower case element. Text printed on the case gives it a saline bag effect, and a molded loop on top lets you hang your AirPods on the metal stand. Each stand also comes with a tiny metal card, which mimics the ones hung on IV stands with the patient’s details.

The case serves a dual purpose – it acts as protection (obviously), but it also gives your AirPods character without really taking away from its portability. The pillow-shaped design still lets you slip your AirPods into your pocket while traveling, but if you ever need a place to keep your AirPods, that stand might just be the perfect place. Hang your AirPods while you work, plug them in if they run out of charge, the case imparts an adorable character to the AirPods, taking them from a boring dental-floss-case-looking piece of tech to something a lot more eye-catching.
The two-part case is easy to install – slip each half on and it snugly holds onto your AirPods. The case has a fairly secure friction-fit, and can be taken off if you want, without much of a struggle. The clear case’s design practically creates a Liquid Glass-esque appearance that I personally love. The lower half is blue-tinted, making it look like there’s liquid inside the otherwise clear case. To complete the illusion, there’s text printed on the bag too, making it look further like your traditional saline IV drip bag.
The case is fairly cheap, starting at ¥74.9 Chinese Yuan or $10 USD. It’s a little difficult to find outside China, although if Tmall delivers to your country, you might be in luck. Until then, we’ll have to get serotonin injected in us the traditional way – wirelessly, and through earbuds!
