Escape’s latest creation, aptly named “the Ultimate,” sets a new standard in tiny homes. This impressive model is designed to deliver an extraordinary living experience, and it certainly lives up to the promise implied by its name. As Escape’s largest tiny house to date, the Ultimate impresses with its expansive interior, providing a generous 720 square feet (nearly 67 square meters) of well-planned floorspace—a size rarely found in the tiny house market.
Built atop a sturdy triple-axle trailer, the Ultimate stretches to an impressive 43 feet (13 meters) in length. This places it among the longest tiny homes available, showcasing just how far the movement has evolved in size and comfort. However, given its substantial footprint and weight, this model isn’t designed for frequent travel. Instead, it’s best suited for a permanent or semi-permanent installation on a carefully chosen site, offering residents a stable and luxurious living environment. The Ultimate is a testament to how tiny house living can offer both style and space without compromise.
Designer: Escape
The exterior of the Ultimate tiny house maintains the familiar aesthetic of previous Escape models, featuring attractive cedar cladding and ample glazing that allows abundant natural light to flood the interior. Entry is provided through a glass door that leads directly into the spacious kitchen. This well-equipped kitchen boasts a dedicated laundry area with a washer and dryer.
Modern appliances such as a fridge/freezer, oven, induction cooktop, microwave, sink, and dishwasher have also been included in the space. The kitchen is also enhanced with durable stone countertops and plentiful cabinetry, offering ample storage and functionality for comfortable tiny house living.
Adjacent to the kitchen is the inviting living room, featuring a comfortable sofa, a spacious entertainment center with a TV, ample cabinetry, and an electric fireplace for warmth and ambiance. The living room seamlessly connects to the master bedroom, which, being located on the ground floor, offers generous headroom for standing and moving about comfortably.
Inside the master bedroom, you’ll find a king-sized bed and additional cabinetry, including a full-size closet. This closet is quite spacious and can be converted into an optional en-suite bathroom, allowing for greater flexibility and customization to suit different lifestyle needs and preferences.
On the opposite end of the tiny house from the master bedroom, you’ll find the bathroom, which is accessible through a frosted glass door. Inside, the bathroom is equipped with a vanity sink, a flushing toilet, and a spacious shower, providing all the essentials for comfortable living. Centrally located within the home, a staircase with built-in storage leads to the Ultimate’s upper level.
The majority of this space is dedicated to a massive loft-style bedroom, stretching 21 feet (6.4 meters) in length, longer than some entire tiny homes. This generous area can easily be divided into two separate bedrooms or configured as a bedroom and a home office, depending on your needs. A nearby walkway connects to a second, smaller loft, which can serve as additional sleeping quarters or storage. The tiny house is currently listed for sale at US$155,000.
